MY PRIORITIES
Access to affordable, equitable healthcare is essential for every Coloradan. This includes prioritizing mental health services and tackling persistent racial disparities in our healthcare system. With seniors as the fastest-growing demographic in our state, it’s critical to ensure they receive the protection, care, and dignity they deserve. At the same time, we must work tirelessly to make high-quality healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone, from young families to seniors. As someone who has seen firsthand the challenges faced by loved ones navigating our healthcare system, I am committed to bringing bold solutions to improve outcomes for every community.
Too many Coloradans are struggling to afford housing, basic necessities, and fair wages. I understand this deeply—as a single mom, I know the stress of living paycheck to paycheck, worrying about how to keep a roof over your family’s head while building a better future. I will fight for policies that prioritize affordable housing, increase access to good-paying jobs, and provide protections against price gouging and unfair economic practices. As costs of living continue to rise, especially with tariffs and inflation looming under the upcoming administration, I am dedicated to creating pathways for families to thrive, not just survive.
MAKING COLORADO AFFORDABLE
HEALTHCARE FOR ALL
Colorado deserves a criminal justice system that prioritizes fairness, accountability, and rehabilitation over punishment alone. I will champion evidence-based solutions like diversion programs, mental health interventions, and restorative justice measures that reduce recidivism and address systemic inequities. As the Criminal Justice Chair for the Aurora NAACP, I’ve seen how effective policies can transform lives and communities. It’s time we focus on building a system that uplifts individuals, strengthens communities, and ensures public safety without sacrificing justice or equity.
